What is the difference between custom made and off-the-peg clothes? At ANS Fashions we only sell custom tailored garments. We can create fully custom made suits, shirts and slacks in the style and fabric of your choice with an exact fit. Nothing can compare with the impression of style and sophistication created by a custom tailored garment For Custom Suits we offer you the following features at no extra charge: Hand-embroidered initials or your full name inside the jacket Hand-picked and matched linings and buttons Inside arm shields Additional inside pockets for custom suits Working buttons on suit cuffs Cloth covered buttons if required Hand-cut, hand-turned collars What is your price range? Custom-made suits for men start around US$350 to $950. Shirts start at US$35 to $130. Sports Coats are two-thirds the price of a suit and slacks run at about one-third the price of a suit. Because of the silk facing, Tuxedos are US$75 to $120 more than a suit. Topcoats are the same price as Suits Do I have to get re-measured every time I order? No. Once we have your measurements on file re-orders are easy. If you want something new, all you have to do is select the cloth and styles Where will my clothes be made? Every garment that we sell is cut and sewn at our workshop in Hong Kong and delivered to you via mail When I place my order, can I choose different styles? Is it possible to request different collars, cuffs, pockets or other unique features on my suits? Yes, your suit is made precisely to your specifications with your choice of fabric, lining, pockets, trouser style etc. We use the finest threads, the best linings and the highest quality buttons for our garments - all tailored to your personal specifications. We can also make different collars, cuff, monogram style etc on any single order of over three shirts. For Custom Shirts we offer you the following features at no extra charge: Monograms if required Generous shirt tails More than sixteen collar styles to choose from - or we can copy your favourite shirt 4 cuff styles, low band or high collar backs Can I choose different fabrics? You may choose any fabric we offer. We stock in excess of 2000 shirtings, all of which come with high thread counts for rich texture and feel and an enormous selection of the finest quality suit material. We encourage you to browse through the fabric swatches we display at each appointment but if you don't find the exact fabric you're looking for we will try find the perfect match for you from descriptions or photographs. We can provide you with swatches of fabric on request Are new fabrics available frequently? Yes, new suit and shirt fabrics are available on a regular basis and if you have a specific request and we will attempt to find the fabric for you How do I know that my custom-made suit or shirt will fit? You may start your first order by sending us your best fitting suit or shirt which will be copied precisely and we will be glad to incorporate any changes you might want, then we will return the garment you sent, along with your new ANS Fashions garments. In addition our Master tailor will take your measurements at the meeting to ensure an accurate fit I have never had a suit tailored-made before and I'm not sure where to start Our Consultant will be happy to discuss your needs with you and guide you through the process. Yes a pattern is prepared based on your personal measurements and requirements and everything is tailored to your precise personal specifications Will my shirt tails be long enough? Your shirt tails will be based upon your height and weight and then designed to your complete satisfaction. Extra long or extra short tails on request Will your Master tailor consult with me at my home or office? If you have three or more people interested in custom-tailored suits we will be happy to make such arrangements. Our representative travels extensively throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand and individual appointments take place in our representatives hotel room during his frequent visits to your city Do you have any female clients? Yes we have many female clients. We can make a variety of Ladies garments including suits, coats and shirts/blouses to your specifications and in your choice of fabric What if I need alterations made to a garment? In case of alterations, we will provide the alterations at no extra cost either at our clients location or in Hong Kong How long will it be before I receive my garments? You will receive your order in five to eight weeks. We always try our best to deliver sooner.
